China General Nuclear Power Corporation (003816.SZ) announced that its subsidiary Shandong Zhaoyuan Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. will conduct the first concrete pouring for the main reactor building of Zhaoyuan Unit 2 on September 5, 2026. This marks the start of full construction for Zhaoyuan Unit 2, entering the civil engineering phase. Zhaoyuan Unit 2 utilizes Hualong One nuclear power technology, with a single unit installed capacity of 1214 MW.
