UNITED LAB (03933): The first dosage for the trial participant has been administered in the Phase III clinical study of UBT251 injection for obesity/overweight in China.

UNITED LAB (03933) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Federal Biotechnology (Zhuhai Hengqin) Co., Ltd. (Federal Biotechnology), has completed the dosing of the first trial participant in the Phase III clinical study of the innovative Class I drug UBT251 injection for overweight/obesity in China. This study employs a randomized, double-blind, parallel, placebo-controlled design, with a planned enrollment of 600 participants who are obese (BMI28.0 kg/m) or overweight (24.0 kg/mBMI<28.0 kg/m) with at least one weight-related comorbidity. The aim is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of UBT251 injection in overweight/obese participants. The primary endpoints of the study include the percentage change in weight from baseline for participants over 52 weeks of treatment, and the proportion of participants achieving a weight reduction of 5% from baseline.
