Zhejiang Tianyu Pharmaceutical (300702.SZ) subsidiary's raw material drug, Phosphoric Acid Sitagliptin, has passed the CDE review.

Zhejiang Tianyu Pharmaceutical (300702.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang Jingsheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has recently passed the review by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration for its active pharmaceutical ingredient, sitagliptin phosphate. Sitagliptin phosphate is an antidiabetic medication that helps to control blood sugar levels and is primarily used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. The sitagliptin phosphate active pharmaceutical ingredient has now passed the CDE review, but it must also obtain a "meets requirements" result from the GMP compliance inspection by the Zhejiang Provincial Medical Products Administration before it can be marketed domestically.
