FRONTIER SER (00500) has released its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2026, during which the group achieved revenue of HKD 317 million from customer contracts, a year-on-year decrease of 0.475%. The loss attributable to equity holders of the company was HKD 20.09 million, an increase of 142.8% compared to the previous year; the loss per share was HKD 0.83. The announcement stated that the decline in revenue was due to the group's ongoing termination of certain underperforming businesses and a reduction in some of the groups existing security operations because of geopolitical instability in several countries. During this period, the groups overall operational performance could not be compared to the same period in 2025, as there were gains of HKD 11.074 million recognized from the sale of an interest in an associate company and gains of HKD 3.672 million from the cancellation of the consolidation of a subsidiary in 2025, neither of which occurred in 2026. Excluding the impact of these two transactions, the groups security and aviation divisions showed slight improvement in terms of revenue, although overall profitability remained insufficient.
