GT GOLD (08299) rose over 6%, reaching a gain of 6.67% to HKD 0.32 as of the time of writing, with a trading volume of HKD 61.92 million. On the news front, the U.S. Treasury Department has enhanced its long-term Treasury bond buyback program, signaling the release of liquidity for long-end bonds into the market, which in turn has led to a decline in Treasury yields and the U.S. dollar, becoming a major trigger for the recent rise in gold prices. CICC stated that the Treasury's increase in bond buybacks will, on one hand, boost demand for long-term U.S. Treasuries and improve market liquidity, while on the other hand, weaken the credit of U.S. Treasuries and the dollar, making gold the most direct beneficiary asset. It is worth noting that GT GOLD's acquisition of the Ning Shan gold mine was officially completed on June 29, with a combined designed capacity of the two concentrators reaching 1,500 tons per day, and the potential capacity could reach 2,000 tons per day. Meanwhile, the technological transformation of Taizhou Mining has entered its final stage, with a new 1,000 tons per day concentrator scheduled for completion by the end of this year. The capacity release from Taizhou's technological upgrade, along with the consolidation of the Ning Shan gold mine, is expected to drive GT GOLD's fundamentals from reliance on a "single mine" to a "multi-point development" approach.
