TIANLI HOLDINGS (00117) fell over 13% after issuing a profit warning. As of the time of writing, it had dropped 13.07%, trading at HKD 3.025, with a transaction volume of HKD 12.547 million. On August 18, TIANLI HOLDINGS released an announcement stating that the Group expects a shareholder loss of no more than RMB 5.8 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, while the loss for the six months ending June 30, 2025, was RMB 33.8 million. The announcement indicated that the reduction in losses is mainly attributed to the turnaround in the financial performance of the chip multilayer ceramic capacitor business segment, which recorded a segment profit of approximately RMB 4.6 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, compared to a segment loss of approximately RMB 16.9 million in the same period of 2025; and the financial performance of the asset management business segment also improved, with a segment profit of approximately RMB 15 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, compared to about RMB 11.6 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025. The aforementioned segment profits were offset by corporate expenses generated from the debts of such loans modified in 2025 (primarily including interest expenses arising from other loans modified in 2025), most of which are non-cash items and will not significantly impact the Group's day-to-day operations and cash flow.
