EVEREST MED (01952) announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2026, reporting a revenue of 1.148 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), a year-on-year increase of 157.29%; a gross profit of 799 million yuan, an increase of 166.98%; and a loss attributable to equity holders of 5.944 million yuan, significantly narrowing by 97.62%. The announcement stated that the revenue increase was primarily due to the continued strong sales growth of NAI FUKANG, along with service income generated according to the commercialization service agreement signed with Haisun Bio. To achieve a broader product portfolio, the company has enhanced the utilization and productivity of its existing commercial platform, as well as strengthened its commercial capabilities and product lifecycle management. The gross profit margin rose from 67.1% for the six months ended June 30, 2025, to 69.6% for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with the improvement largely attributed to the group's ongoing enhancement of supply chain efficiency and initiatives for local production. The reduction in the loss attributable to equity holders over six months was mainly due to the strong sales growth of the group's commercialized products, improved operational efficiency, and fair value gains from McCall's financial asset investments. Key achievements during the reporting period include: strong momentum in the commercialization and real-world research of NAI FUKANG; the granting of a New Drug Listing Application (NDLA) for WEISHIPING in mainland China and its commercial launch; expansion of the product pipeline through multiple licensing agreements, acquisitions, and collaboration agreements; solidification of the Asia-Pacific commercialization platform through the acquisition of Haisun Biopharmaceuticals (Singapore) Co., Ltd.; and the successful completion of the first outbound licensing transaction for a product with global rights. Additionally, several late-stage clinical development projects made progress, and the companys personalized mRNA tumor vaccine EVM16 released positive initial human clinical trial data. These advancements further solidify EVEREST MED's diversified product portfolio and enhance its commercialization and development layout in the Asia-Pacific market, steering the company toward its long-term strategic goal of becoming a leading biopharmaceutical company in the region.
