Hisense Home Appliances Group (00921) fell nearly 4%. As of the time of publishing, it had dropped 3.73%, priced at HK$21.68, with a transaction volume of HK$12.6654 million. In terms of news, Hisense Home Appliances Group released its interim financial results for 2026, reporting total operating revenue of RMB 46.766 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 5.22%; and a net profit attributable to the owners of the parent company of RMB 1.658 billion, down by 20.16%. By business segment, the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) division, which accounts for nearly half of the company's revenue, achieved sales of RMB 22.353 billion, a year-on-year decline of 5.66%, with a gross profit margin of 24.24%, down 2.88% year-on-year. The laundry and refrigeration business, although it realized a 12.88% growth to RMB 17.376 billion, had a gross profit margin of only 16.81%, a year-on-year decrease of 1.93%. In its semi-annual report, Hisense Home Appliances Group candidly admitted that under external pressures such as geopolitical disturbances and rising raw material prices, its response capabilities need further improvement. Huatai commented that the performance pressure primarily stems from overall weak domestic demand, rising raw material costs, and foreign exchange losses; however, there are highlights including growth in the laundry and refrigeration sector, breakthroughs in high-value scenarios for central air conditioning, and improvements in the three electric operations.
