BUYANG INTL (02457) issued a profit warning, expecting a loss of approximately 500,000 to 4.5 million yuan in the first half of the year, turning from profit to loss compared to the same period last year.
Buyang International (02457) announced that the group expects to incur a loss of approximately 500,000 to 4.5 million in the first half of 2026, compared to a net profit of approximately 5.9 million in the same period of 2025. The decline in performance is mainly due to (i) the sustained high market prices of primary raw material aluminum ingots, leading to an increase in production costs and a decrease in profit; and (ii) intensified fluctuations in the foreign exchange market, resulting in significant exchange losses for the company due to currency rate changes.
