CN INT DEV CORP (00264) issued an announcement regarding Ganic Synergy Company Limited (the service provider, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ganic Success Limited, while Ganic Success Limited is a non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) entering into a procurement contract (the first procurement contract) with Brightray Veridian PTE. LTD. (the customer).
On August 3, 2026, the service company entered into a second procurement contract (the second procurement contract) with the customer to provide procurement services at the construction site in Malaysia, including but not limited to: procuring prefabricated AIDC modules that meet the customers specific AIDC requirements; arranging for the prefabricated AIDC modules to be shipped to the designated port agreed upon by the service company and the customer using standardized modular transportation; arranging acceptance testing of the prefabricated AIDC modules for the customer; and arranging installation services for the prefabricated AIDC modules at the construction site.
Under the second procurement contract, the service company will charge the customer approximately USD 68 million (equivalent to about HKD 535 million) for the procurement services provided. The total charges to the customer by the service company under the first and second procurement contracts amount to USD 93 million (equivalent to about HKD 731 million).
The accelerated development of global artificial intelligence and digitalization has led to the continuous expansion of the smart computing center and data center market. As a key component of such data centers, prefabricated AIDC modules have gained market favor due to significantly reduced deployment time, resulting in sustained demand for these modules. To capture the opportunity presented by the surge in market demand, the joint venture company will continue to explore opportunities to expand its internal capabilities and service offerings to include specialized AIDC design and engineering services, as well as AIDC operation and maintenance services tailored to meet its customers' long-term operational needs. This strategic transformation ensures that the joint venture company can evolve from a pure procurement provider into a comprehensive service partner for the entire lifecycle, thereby expanding its market share and driving sustainable growth. To align with this strategic vision, the joint venture company is recruiting personnel with extensive experience in AIDC engineering, procurement, construction services, and operations and maintenance, in order to establish a dedicated team that can ensure the provision of diversified, comprehensive, and high-quality services to its customers.
The signing of the second procurement contract also marks the customer's confidence in the service company and its willingness to establish a long-term cooperative relationship.
