This cooperation marks the continuous commercialization of the AiTEM artificial intelligence formulation platform driven by NanoForge, and signifies the accelerated evolution of NanoForge as the R&D infrastructure for AI4S.
On August 3, Jitai Technology (07666) announced that its independently developed AiTEM artificial intelligence formulation innovation platform will be deployed locally at Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (600276.SH, 01276) to accelerate the efficiency of drug formulation development. This collaboration marks the ongoing commercialization of the AiTEM AI formulation platform driven by NanoForge, and signifies NanoForge's accelerated evolution as an AI4S research and development infrastructure. According to reports, NanoForge is an AI nanodelivery platform independently developed by Jitai Technology, integrating AI lipid generation algorithms, lipid foundational models, intelligent agents, and a high-throughput experimental closed-loop platform. According to the company's prospectus, the platform has accumulated more than 10 million lipid structures and 100,000 experimental data points, supporting over 10 innovative drug development pipelines with breakthroughs in targeting delivery to several key human organs and tissues. The AiTEM platform relies on the NanoForge technology engine to achieve drug formulation design and optimization through quantum chemistry and molecular dynamics simulations, enhancing drug solubility, bioavailability, and optimizing pharmacokinetic characteristics. In the AI-powered formulation of the new drug MTS-004 project, AiTEM shortens the preclinical formulation optimization cycle from the industry average of 1 to 2 years to less than 3 months, with the project taking only 38 months from initiation to the completion of Phase III clinical trials, significantly improving research and development efficiency. Analysts believe that the localization of AiTEM at Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals signifies that AI pharmaceuticals is moving from point project collaborations to a new phase of platform-based outputs.
