On the news front, in July of this year, the MemoSorb biodegradable atrial septal defect (ASD) occluder and fully degradable ventricular septal defect (VSD) occluder developed independently by SCIENTECH were approved for listing in the Saudi Arabian medical device market.
It is worth noting that in April of this year, the biodegradable patent foramen ovale (PFO) occluder and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) system have already been approved for listing in Saudi Arabia.
