On July 21, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates all fell, with the one-month interbank rate related to mortgages at 2.71548%, down 3.452 basis points; the three-month interbank rate reflecting bank funding costs at 2.94595%, down 2.941 basis points. The overnight interest rate was 2.35857%, down 11.250 basis points; the one-week interbank rate fell by 9.143 basis points to 2.50857%, while the two-week interbank rate dropped by 6.328 basis points to 2.63083%. In terms of longer-term interest rates, the six-month interbank rate did not increase or decrease, remaining at 3.17536%, while the one-year rate fell by 0.018 basis points to 3.54482%.
