From January to May 2026, the production of China's electronic information manufacturing industry grew rapidly, exports were stable and improving, profitability significantly increased, investment growth accelerated, and the overall development trend of the industry was good. In the January to May period, the operating income of electronic information manufacturing enterprises above a certain scale reached 7.52 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.1%; operating costs were 6.42 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.9%; the total profit was 422 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.04 times. In May, the operating income of electronic information manufacturing enterprises above a certain scale was 1.64 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.2%.
