NIKE, Inc. Class B (NKE.US) Q4 revenue and EPS exceeded expectations, with a net profit year-on-year increase of 407%.
Nike releases the financial report for the fourth quarter of the 2026 fiscal year.
After the market closed on June 30th, Nike, Inc. Class B (NKE.US) released its fourth quarter financial report for the 2026 fiscal year. The data shows that the company achieved revenue of 11 billion US dollars, surpassing market expectations of 10.85 billion US dollars; adjusted earnings per share reached 0.72 US dollars, far exceeding analysts' general expectation of 0.13 US dollars. Net profit surged by 407% year-on-year to 1.069 billion US dollars.
The most notable aspect of this quarter's financial report is a nearly 986 million US dollars expected refund of tariffs. After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that former President Trump's multiple global tariff policies were invalid, Nike, Inc. Class B confirmed the possibility of recovering this IEEPA tariff. This one-time income contributed 0.52 US dollars per share, accounting for approximately 72% of the reported EPS of 0.72 US dollars. Excluding the 0.52 US dollars of earnings from the tariff refund, the EPS is 0.20 US dollars, still surpassing market expectations. Gross profit margin increased by 8.9% to 49.2% during the period, mainly benefiting from the Supreme Court overturning multiple global tariff policies of former President Trump.
As the most closely watched region, the Greater China region achieved revenue of 1.3 billion US dollars this quarter, a 12% year-on-year decline but better than management's previous expectation of around a 20% decrease. North America's revenue was 4.83 billion US dollars, a 3% year-on-year increase, which was in line with expectations, with growth in footwear products as the main driver. EMEA revenue was 3 billion US dollars, a 1% year-on-year decline but better than the expected 2.96 billion US dollars. Asia Pacific and Latin America revenue reached 1.6 billion US dollars, a 1% year-on-year increase, better than the expected 1.56 billion US dollars.
Of note, the 2026 FIFA World Cup is igniting global soccer enthusiasm, and as a sponsor of multiple national teams' jerseys, Nike, Inc. Class B is expected to capitalize on this opportunity to boost product demand.
