Building on the significant improvement in the quality and efficiency of reviews at present, we will continue to enhance efficiency and transparency in reviews, strengthen supervision of major mergers and acquisitions, continue to strictly adhere to the "double twenty" deadline requirements for simple cases, optimize business system functions, ensure the proper disclosure of typical cases, listen carefully to the opinions and suggestions of relevant parties on major merger reviews, and effectively carry out supervision, enforcement, and handling of illegal activities.
Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued a notice, deploying local market regulation departments to carry out a special action to improve the efficiency of anti-monopoly supervision of operators from June to December. The aim is to leverage anti-monopoly supervision to promote competition, encourage innovation, and stimulate vitality, support companies in moving away from "zero-sum" competition through mergers and reorganizations, and promote the formation of a market order characterized by high quality, fair pricing, and healthy competition. The special action mainly focuses on three key tasks: strengthening regulatory capacity building, promoting the improvement of regulatory quality and efficiency throughout the entire chain, and enhancing the effectiveness of compliance guidance work.
