On June 29, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates continued to rise and fall, with the one-month interbank rate related to property mortgages reported at 2.94839%, a decrease of 1.09 basis points. The three-month interbank rate, which reflects bank funding costs, was reported at 2.97369%, a decrease of 1.208 basis points.
The overnight rate was 2.6125%, an increase of 6.202 basis points. The one-week interbank rate increased by 0.142 basis points to 3.08821%, while the two-week rate fell by 2.47 basis points to 2.98893%. In terms of longer-term rates, the six-month interbank rate fell by 0.405 basis points to 3.1372%, while the one-year rate increased by 0.779 basis points to 3.42946%.
