ApicHope Pharmaceutical Group (300723.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangzhou ApicHope Pharmaceutical Group Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., recently received approval for a clinical trial application for the innovative drug APH03867 tablets developed independently by the company from the National Medical Products Administration, and has received the "Acceptance Notice". It is reported that APH03867 tablets are a new type of orally administered, non-peptide small molecule URAT1 inhibitor developed independently by the company. By inhibiting the activity of URAT1 in the kidneys, it blocks the reabsorption of uric acid in the renal tubules, increases uric acid excretion, and effectively lowers blood uric acid levels, and can be used to improve symptoms of hyperuricemia and gout.
