LAEKNA-B (02105) rose by more than 5% in the morning session, and as of the time of writing, it was up by 4.78% at HK$9.42, with a turnover of HK$142.87 million. On the news front, LAEKNA-B announced that on June 9, 2026, the Group entered into an exclusive license agreement with Vasque Bio, Inc. (Vasque Bio). Under the terms of the license agreement, the Group granted Vasque Bio an exclusive license in a global territory (excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) to develop, manufacture, commercialize, and otherwise exploit LAE118 (a new PI3K pan-mutant selective inhibitor developed by the Group), and to have related rights. In return, the Group is entitled to receive a non-refundable and non-deductible upfront cash payment of $10 million, as well as the right to receive an equity interest of up to a high double-digit percentage of Vasque Bio's issued common stock without additional consideration, or a cash payment in lieu of such common stock. Under the license agreement, the Group also has the right to receive up to $517 million in development and sales milestone payments, as well as single to double-digit percentage gradient sales royalties calculated based on the net sales of LAE118 in the licensed territory. If Vasque Bio achieves certain qualified strategic collaborations or acquisitions related to the use of LAE118, the Group will be entitled to additional payments, up to 50% of the value of the strategic transaction.
