On June 2nd, the Hong Kong dollar interest rates experienced both increases and decreases. The one-month interbank interest rate, which is related to mortgage rates, rose by 1.232 basis points to 2.58387%. The three-month interbank interest rate, which reflects the cost of bank funds, fell by 2.958 basis points to 2.77042%.
The overnight interest rate fell by 4.81 basis points to 2.04976%. The one-week interbank interest rate fell by 9.75 basis points to 2.22018%, while the two-week rate fell by 5.898 basis points to 2.28554%. In terms of longer-term rates, the six-month interbank interest rate fell by 3.273 basis points to 2.92173%, while the one-year rate fell by 1.209 basis points to 3.1647%.
