CHK OIL (00632) Announcement: Fukui Mazer Certified Public Accountants Limited has been serving as the independent auditor of the company since June 2020. The Board of Directors believes that as good corporate governance practice, the company should consider rotating independent auditors after a certain period of time. Therefore, the Board of Directors proposes that Fukui Mazer Certified Public Accountants Limited retire as the independent auditor of the company, effective upon the conclusion of the upcoming shareholders' annual general meeting to be held on June 26, 2026. Upon recommendation by the Audit Committee of the company, the Board of Directors proposes the appointment of Guowei Certified Public Accountants Limited as the company's auditor to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Fukui Mazer Certified Public Accountants Limited. In accordance with the company's articles of association, the appointment of Guowei Certified Public Accountants Limited as the auditor is subject to approval by an ordinary resolution of the shareholders at the upcoming annual general meeting of shareholders. Upon approval at the shareholders' meeting and completion of the client acceptance process by Guowei Certified Public Accountants Limited, they will serve as the company's auditor until the next annual general meeting of shareholders.
