The original manufacturer of phosphoric acid oseltamivir suspension is Roche Pharmaceuticals Ltd., which was approved for marketing in the United States in December 2000, followed by approvals in Japan and the European Union. In October 2021, phosphoric acid oseltamivir suspension was approved for marketing domestically. On October 25, 2024, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings Medicine Factory submitted an application to the National Medical Products Administration for drug marketing registration, which was accepted on October 30, 2024. Currently, the main manufacturers and sellers of phosphoric acid oseltamivir suspension include Hetero Labs Limited, Borui Pharmaceuticals (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Qilu Pharmaceuticals (Hainan) Co., Ltd., among others. According to Minet data, the sales of phosphoric acid oseltamivir suspension in domestic cities, county-level public hospitals, urban areas, and online pharmacies amounted to 135.01 million yuan in 2025. As of now, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings Medicine Factory has invested a total of approximately 22.1172 million yuan (unaudited) in research and development expenses for the phosphoric acid oseltamivir suspension project.
