Jiangxi Synergy Pharmaceutical (300636.SZ) announced that, recently, the company obtained approval from the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration for the registration of the active pharmaceutical ingredient "Celecoxib". Celecoxib is mainly used for relieving symptoms and signs of osteoarthritis, adult rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and for treating acute pain in adults. The approval from CDE for the "Celecoxib" active pharmaceutical ingredient indicates that it meets the relevant technical standards for drug evaluation in China and has been approved for use in domestic market formulations. This will benefit the company in expanding its product sales in the domestic market and establish a good pattern of simultaneous sales in both domestic and international markets.
