Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates have shown divergent developments. The one-month interest rate has risen for two consecutive months to reach 2.57%.

The three-month interbank rate, which reflects the cost of bank funds, increased by 1.065 basis points to 2.85375%.
The overnight rate was at 2.1306%, a decrease of 15.166 basis points, while the one-week interbank rate increased by 1.422 basis points to 2.47226%. The two-week rate decreased by 7.327 basis points to 2.51179%. In terms of longer-term rates, the six-month interbank rate increased by 0.036 basis points to 2.97369%, while the one-year rate increased by 0.898 basis points to 3.18577%.
