China Smart Technology (01796) announced that Daiyou Finance Limited (a licensed corporation capable of conducting Type 1 (Securities Trading) and Type 6 (Providing advice on corporate finance) regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance) has been appointed as the independent financial advisor to provide advice to the Independent Committee of Directors of the Company on certain offers (particularly whether the offers are fair and reasonable and whether the offers should be accepted). This appointment has been approved by the Independent Committee of Directors in accordance with Rule 2.1 of the Takeover Code. The opinion letter of Daiyou Finance Limited on the offers and the recommended advice provided to the Independent Committee of Directors will be included in the offer document sent to shareholders in accordance with the provisions of the Takeover Code.
