As of the time of writing, Guolian Minsheng (01456) is up 3.83% to HK$4.61; Guangfa Securities (01776) is up 3.71% to HK$17.62; HTSC (06886) is up 2.85% to HK$16.26; CITIC Securities (06030) is up 2.51% to HK$27.78; and CICC (03908) is up 1.09% to HK$20.38.

As of the time of this report, Guolian Minsheng (01456) rose by 3.83% to HK$4.61; GF SEC (01776) rose by 3.71% to HK$17.62; HTSC (06886) rose by 2.85% to HK$16.26; CITIC SEC (06030) rose by 2.51% to HK$27.78; CICC (03908) rose by 1.09% to HK$20.38. On the news front, on the evening of April 27th, both Guolian Minsheng and GF SEC disclosed impressive first-quarter results for 2026. Prior to this, CICC reported positive first-quarter results, stating that the company actively seized the favorable opportunity of the stable and active capital market during the reporting period, promoting the coordinated development and balanced growth of various core businesses such as investment banking and wealth management, achieving a significant increase in operating performance year-on-year. Open-source Securities pointed out that undervaluation, better-than-expected first-quarter earnings, and increased growth potential are the core reasons for optimism in the top securities firms at present. The market's concerns about fund suppression and refinancing in the securities sector have been fully reflected in the valuation, which continues to remain historically low, while ROE continues to improve. The bank believes that the divergence between fundamentals and valuations cannot persist in the long term. The bank currently emphasizes opportunities in the securities sector and recommends top securities firms.
