On the news front, recently, OmniVision Integrated Circuits Group, Inc. announced plans to further improve the company's semiconductor industry chain layout by strategically collaborating with the upstream supply chain to create a more resilient supply chain network and delivery guarantee system. The company intends to increase its investment in Rongxin Semiconductor by RMB 1 billion in cash to hold approximately 32.18 million yuan of its registered capital. Based on the current round of funding of RMB 4 billion, the company is expected to hold approximately 5.88% of its registered capital after this round of financing. Details are subject to the final agreements signed by all parties.
It is understood that Rongxin Semiconductor is the first domestic 12-inch integrated circuit wafer foundry enterprise to adopt a market-oriented capital operation model, focusing on the layout of mature process technology tracks ranging from 28 to 180 nanometers.
