Intercontinental Shipping (02409) announced that on April 23, 2026 (after trading hours on the Stock Exchange), the seller Seacon Vancouver Ltd and Seacon Oslo Ltd (indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of the company) entered into an agreement with the buyer Asyad Shipping Company SAOG (ASCO). According to this, the seller agrees to sell and the buyer agrees to purchase ships, with a total price of 72.7 million US dollars, and the price of each ship is 36.35 million US dollars.
SEACON (02409) announced that on April 23, 2026 (after trading hours on the Stock Exchange), the seller Seacon Vancouver Ltd and Seacon Oslo Ltd (indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company) entered into an agreement with the buyer Asyad Shipping Company SAOG (ASCO). Under this agreement, the seller agreed to sell and the buyer agreed to purchase vessels for a total consideration of 72.7 million US dollars, with a price of 36.35 million US dollars per vessel.
The vessels are currently leased to the seller by their respective owners under bareboat charters. The seller intends to exercise their purchase options at the respective purchase option prices under the bareboat charters before the delivery date to purchase the vessels. The vessels acquired by the seller through the exercise of the purchase options will be further delivered to the buyer in accordance with the agreement.
