On the news front, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Energy Administration held a joint symposium with companies in the power and energy storage battery industry on April 9 to deploy work related to regulating industrial competitive order. The meeting emphasized the importance and urgency of resolving "inward-facing" competition, firmly opposing unreasonable and unfair competition, and maintaining a healthy and orderly market environment. Soochow released a research report stating that electricity calculation synergy has been included in the government work report for the first time, which is expected to drive energy storage demand. China's electricity and computing power distribution is uneven, with policy measures continuing to increase. It is explicitly required that new data centers in hub nodes have a green power ratio of over 80%, and for the first time in 2026, the electricity calculation synergy was included in the government work report. Currently, there is explosive growth in computing power demand, which has led to a rigid demand for electricity.
