A reporter asked, it has been reported that the US Trade Representative Katherine Tai said she will engage in working-level dialogue with Beijing, will there be any discussions or plans to further delay the export control of rare earths? Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Gao Feng responded, in accordance with the consensus reached in the China-US Kuala Lumpur economic and trade consultations, the relevant export control measures announced by China on October 9, 2025, are temporarily suspended until November 10, 2026. China and the US will continue to communicate through the economic and trade consultation mechanism on their respective concerns.
