Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission CEO Leung Fung Yi has been reappointed as the chairman of the Asia Pacific Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions.
The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong welcomes the reappointment of its Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Ashley Alder, as the Chair of the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). Ms. Alder's second two-year term will commence on the date of the annual IOSCO conference in May 2026.

Alder stated that she is honored to be reappointed as the Chair of the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee, and looks forward to further strengthening the resilience of capital markets in the region and ensuring that the Asia-Pacific region can have a strong and balanced voice in global financial dialogues. Regulatory bodies within the region will work together to address various issues, such as online investment scams, digital assets, public and private markets, and enhancing cross-border regulatory and enforcement cooperation.
