Fuyao Glass (03606) announced that the company held its eleventh board of directors' meeting, the eleventh meeting on March 17, 2026. The meeting reviewed and passed the proposal regarding the conduct of foreign exchange derivative trading business. With the continuous expansion of the company's overseas sales scale, sales receipts are mainly in USD and EUR. If there is a significant fluctuation in the foreign exchange rate, it will impact the company's operating performance. In order to prevent and reduce the risks brought by fluctuations in foreign exchange rates and interest rates, the company plans to conduct foreign exchange derivative trading business with financial institutions.
Fuyao Glass Industry Group (03606) announced that the Company will convene the 11th meeting of the Board of Directors on March 17, 2026, to review and approve the proposal on conducting foreign exchange derivative trading business. With the continuous expansion of the Company's overseas sales volume, sales proceeds are mainly in US dollars and Euros. If there is significant fluctuation in foreign exchange rates, it will have an impact on the Company's operating performance. In order to prevent and reduce the risks brought by fluctuations in foreign exchange rates and interest rates, the Company plans to engage in foreign exchange derivative trading business with financial institutions. From the date of approval of the proposal on conducting foreign exchange derivative trading business by the 11th meeting of the Board of Directors, within 12 months, the total amount of foreign exchange derivative trading business conducted by the Company at any point in time shall not exceed 5 billion US dollars or the equivalent in foreign currency. Within this limit, the Company can use it collectively in a rolling manner, and the profits obtained from trading can be reinvested. However, the amount of trading at any point in time during the term (including the relevant amount of using the profits from the aforementioned trading for further trading) should not exceed the total limit for derivative trading business (i.e. 5 billion US dollars or the equivalent in foreign currency).
