CEB GREENTECH (01257) announced that the Group expects its net profit to improve from a net loss of approximately 505 million Hong Kong dollars for the year ending December 31, 2024 to a net profit not exceeding 55 million Hong Kong dollars for the year ending December 31, 2025. The announcement stated that the expected turnaround from a net loss to a net profit is mainly due to a decrease in impairment losses on goodwill, intangible assets, property, factory and equipment, and right-of-use assets compared to the year ending December 31, 2024. This decrease in impairment losses is mainly attributed to the stabilization of the hazardous and solid waste disposal business market conditions, improved operational performance following the implementation of enhanced management measures and cost optimization initiatives, and a more optimistic market outlook after recognizing significant impairment losses in the previous year.
