In terms of news, WESTCHINACEMENT announced that it will issue $300 million in 10.5% senior notes due in 2029. The net proceeds will be used to repurchase, redeem, or repay existing debt (including tender offers or redemptions of 2026 notes) and for working capital (including current liabilities). The company will seek to list the notes on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Standard & Poor's and Fitch International Credit Ratings have temporarily rated the notes as "B".
