BRETON (01333) announces that the board of directors has been informed by Mr. Chen Fangming, the chairman, CEO, executive director, and controlling shareholder of the Company, that he has purchased a total of 170,000 H shares of the Company using his own funds after the close of market on the date of this announcement, representing approximately 0.04% of the total issued shares of the Company. Following this recent purchase, as of the date of this announcement, Mr. Chen holds a total of 118 million shares of the Company (including 57.80 million domestic shares and 60.47 million H shares), representing approximately 30.35% of the total issued shares of the Company (with a domestic shareholding ratio of 41.76% and an H shareholding ratio of 24.07%). Mr. Chen has expressed confidence in the future development prospects of the Group, and does not exclude the possibility of further increasing his shareholding in the Company at an appropriate time within the limits of applicable laws and regulations.
