Blue Sail Medical (002382.SZ) announced that its subsidiary Biosensors Interventional Technologies Pte. Ltd.'s Lithonic coronary vascular intracoronary shock wave treatment system (referred to as "Lithonic system") has obtained EU CE certification.
The approved Lithonic system is designed to release high-pressure sound waves for pre-treatment at severely calcified narrow sites (including calcified narrow sites where balloon inflation is incomplete or stent expansion is uneven). The core principle is to utilize the liquid-electric effect generated by the electrode in the electrolyte solution medium to precisely release high-pressure therapeutic shock waves within the blood vessels, directly acting on calcified lesions for modification, and reducing the risk of complications such as vascular perforation and no-reflow caused by traditional treatment methods for calcified lesions.
