Foursea Holdings Limited (00607) announced that today, the Nanjing Public Security Bureau Jiangning Branch in Jiangsu Province, China, as the investigating authority, has received a report from Nanjing Gaojing Transmission Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China High-speed Transmission, regarding the alleged misappropriation of a total of 6.64 billion RMB in related receivables and prepayments. The Chinese criminal investigation agency received the company's two directors and lawyers from the Shanghai office of Beijing Jindu Law Firm, and clarified the following: 1. After investigation by the public security authorities, it was confirmed that there is no connection between the company and the reported misappropriation of 6.64 billion RMB; 2. The company's directors and executives are also not involved in the reported misappropriation of funds; and 3. The public security authorities have provided a written response to the report last week.

The company's two directors and lawyers from the Shanghai branch of Beijing Jindu Law Firm were received by the criminal investigation agency, which clarified the following: 1. After investigation by the public security agency, it was confirmed that the alleged misappropriation of RMB 6.64 billion reported by the company and the reporting party was not related; 2. None of the company's directors and executives were involved in the alleged misappropriation reported by the reporting party; and 3. The public security agency provided a written response to the reporting party regarding the investigation results last week.
