On Tuesday, the Nasdaq Golden Dragon Index of China fell by 2.69%, with popular Chinese concept stocks dropping across the board. Fangdd Network Group Ltd Sponsored ADR Class A (DUO.US) fell by over 5%, Alibaba Group Holding Limited Sponsored ADR (BABA.US), XPeng, Inc. ADR Sponsored Class A (XPEV.US), and Li Auto, Inc. Sponsored ADR Class A (LI.US) all fell by over 3%, while TAL Education Group Sponsored ADR Class A (TAL.US) fell by over 2%. In addition, the Hang Seng Index dropped by 1.73% and the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.62% on the same day. Analysis indicates that the fall in the Chinese market today is mainly due to the escalation of the trade tensions between China and the United States. Orient believes that relative to expectations, the impact of this trade war is weaker, but there still exists the possibility of fluctuations in the future, which may delay the time for recovery, however it will not change the upward trend in the market.
