PINE TECH (01079) issues profit warning, expected to incur a net loss of approximately HK$14.5 million for the year, turning from profit to loss year-on-year.

PINE TECH (01079) announced that the group is expected to incur an unaudited post-tax comprehensive net loss of approximately HK$145 million for the year ending on June 30, 2025 (2025 financial year), compared to an audited post-tax comprehensive net profit of approximately HK$45 million for the year ending on June 30, 2024 (2024 financial year). The shift from an audited post-tax comprehensive net profit in the 2024 financial year to an unaudited post-tax comprehensive net loss in the 2025 financial year is primarily due to the group recognizing one-time gains of approximately HK$57.4 million from the sale of subsidiary companies in the 2024 financial year, which are not present in the 2025 financial year.
