On the news front, B.DUCK SEMK previously announced its mid-term performance, achieving a revenue of 82.31 million Hong Kong dollars in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 37%. The company also announced its plan to acquire the toy company HIDDEN WOOO. During the reporting period, the company's IP licensing business revenue reached 38.44 million Hong Kong dollars, a year-on-year increase of 46%, with the number of licensed partners increasing to 577. The revenue from retail sales of goods was 43.87 million Hong Kong dollars, a year-on-year increase of 31%, focusing on laying out toy blind boxes, plush toys, AI toys, and light home decor categories. The acquisition of HIDDEN WOOO will further improve the company's IP matrix, expand its toy product line, and target the young consumer market. After the transaction is completed, Mr. Huang Jiale, the founder of HIDDEN WOOO, will serve as the vice president of the company, responsible for the toy business sector, leveraging the group's resources to jointly develop innovative toy products under the IP matrix of both parties, covering blind boxes, vinyl figurines, collectible sculptures, and trendy accessories among other categories. With the support of B.DUCK SEMK, HIDDEN WOOO will accelerate its expansion into overseas markets, especially in the European region with plans to establish brand flagship stores, building deeper brand awareness and emotional connections through immersive retail spaces and localized marketing activities, and accelerating the group's expansion into international markets.
