TIANGONG INT'L (00826) Accelerates Commercialization of High-end New Materials: Powdered steel makes significant breakthrough with major clients, high nitrogen steel recognized in the screw industry.
Tiangong International has taken another solid step towards becoming a global leader in high-end manufacturing materials.
On July 16, the leading metal cutting company Hengerda New Materials (300946.SZ) announced that it had signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the high-end special steel leading enterprise TIANGONG INT'L (00826). The two parties aim to jointly develop and manufacture in various areas such as powdered high-speed steel, high nitrogen steel in the field of planetary rolling screw manufacturing, and promote the synergy and innovation of technology and industrial resources.
As the world's only full range production manufacturer of powdered steel products, TIANGONG INT'L's powdered steel has been certified by the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA), breaking the over 30-year monopoly of European and American companies. After signing the strategic cooperation framework agreement with Hengerda New Materials, Hengerda New Materials will purchase not less than 100 tons of sawing tool special materials from TIANGONG INT'L annually starting in 2026 for a period of five years, with a total purchase of not less than 600 tons over five years.
After TIANGONG INT'L's powdered steel is used for the production of high-end sawing tools by Hengerda New Materials, it will help improve the wear resistance and service life of Hengerda New Materials products, replacing expensive imported materials. This also means that TIANGONG INT'L's powdered steel has made a significant breakthrough among domestic major customers, and this will have a demonstrative effect in expanding to other new customers.
In terms of high nitrogen steel, TIANGONG INT'L's independently developed high nitrogen alloy TPMDC02A has been delivered to Jiangsu Runfu Power in early July for mass production of planetary rolling screw, making TIANGONG INT'L the first domestic enterprise to implement high nitrogen steel screw application. Through the cooperation with Hengerda New Materials this time, the two parties will jointly develop the application of high nitrogen steel in screw manufacturing, promote the precision and yield improvement of Hengerda New Materials' rolling functional components (such as planetary rolling screw), and solve the pain points of "low processing efficiency and high cost" of domestically produced screws. Developing two high nitrogen steel customers within a month also indicates that TIANGONG INT'L's high nitrogen steel products have been recognized by the industry.
The cooperation with Hengerda New Materials this time is not only a commercial milestone for TIANGONG INT'L's powdered steel and high nitrogen steel technologies, but also highlights its strategic layout in the field of humanoid Siasun Robot&Automation and high-end equipment track from the material end. This is also the result of TIANGONG INT'L's long-term innovative research and development of new materials, and is expected to help it leap to become a global leader in high-end manufacturing materials.
