VSTECS (00856) announced that the company has recently started cooperation discussions to explore solutions for stablecoin payments and settlements. The discussions mainly focus on the company's ICT product distribution, supply chain services, and digital ecosystem business in Southeast Asia, with a focus on technological innovations in stablecoin payments for real-world applications. The goal is to explore the use of compliant stablecoins as payment tools to improve cross-border trade settlement efficiency, optimize supply chain liquidity, reduce exchange rate risks and cross-border transaction costs, and empower digital transformation for partners in Southeast Asia.
This cooperation does not involve any cryptocurrency speculation. The discussions are at a preliminary stage and no legally binding agreements have been reached yet.
