The temporary permit was approved in May, and the company has been authorized to immediately commence nicotine product manufacturing operations in Malaysia.
Ispire Technology Inc. (ISPR.US) announced today that the company has been granted a temporary license by the Malaysian government for manufacturing nicotine products. This is the first and only nicotine product manufacturing license in Malaysia to be authorized at both federal and state levels, establishing Ispire Technology as the only company in the country with full authorization for export, import, and production. The approval of this temporary license not only means that the company can immediately engage in nicotine product manufacturing in Malaysia, but also signifies that the company can officially market its nicotine production capacity. Michael Wang, co-CEO of Ispire Technology, said, "Obtaining the temporary manufacturing base license in Malaysia is an important milestone for the company in becoming a global leader in vapor hardware. We have now officially launched nicotine product manufacturing and market promotion business in Malaysia, and the base will be equipped with 80 production lines in the future, significantly increasing our production capacity from the current 6 lines. As per our expectations, once the final license is approved in the coming months, we will fully comply with Malaysian regulatory requirements, making us the first company in the country to be granted a federal-level nicotine manufacturing license. By diversifying our production base, we are strategically reducing production risks and price pressures from political factors of GEO Group Inc."
