Following in the footsteps of Adobe and Alphabet Inc. Class C, Salesforce, Inc. (CRM.US) is lowering software prices for the US government.
The General Services Administration (GSA) announced on Monday that Salesforce (CRM.US) has become the latest enterprise software company to offer discounts to the U.S. government.

(CRM.US) has become the latest enterprise software company to offer discounted prices for the U.S. government. The GSA stated that Salesforce, Inc. will be offering a temporary 90% discount on Slack Enterprise Grid to each federal agency, while Slack AI for Enterprise services will be discounted by nearly 70%. The GSA added that the price reduction will continue until November 30th.
Josh Gruenbaum, the Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner at GSA, said in a statement, "GSA welcomes Salesforce, Inc. working with the federal government. The private sector has experienced through the OneGov program that under the leadership of President Trump, GSA is committed to being a good partner, and we will work together to provide the best tools for the government and the best value for the taxpayer."
Dave Rey, an executive at Salesforce, Inc., added, "Slack will accelerate decision-making and unify agencies by providing a secure, FedRAMP authorized operating system for work. Combined with Salesforce, Inc.'s strong ecosystem, data flows, and AI agents, Slack enables government agencies to increase productivity and deliver citizen-centric outcomes in precise, fast ways."
Adobe (ADBE.US) and Alphabet Inc. Class C (GOOG.US) have also recently announced temporary price reductions for their software for the U.S. government.
