Hong Kong Fintech Week will be held in November in conjunction with the StartmeupHK Festival.

On March 10th, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council announced that to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its two flagship events - Hong Kong FinTech Week and StartmeupHK Festival in 2025, the two events will be held jointly from November 3rd to 7th at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and other venues. The combination of the two events will create a larger, comprehensive industry platform focusing on innovation and business benefits. As a top international financial center and a thriving hub for startups, Hong Kong is committed to accelerating the development of the digital economy. Last year, the number of startups in Hong Kong increased by 10%, with the highest proportion in the fintech sector, totaling over 600 related startups. The cooperation between these two major events is expected to accelerate innovation and promote regional development. Nicholas Kwan, Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, stated that this event not only marks Hong Kong's decade of innovation, but also integrates technology and enhances economic influence, serving as an important symbol of Hong Kong's future development.
