On March 7, the Hong Kong government announced the following senior official appointments: Chief Government Town Planner Ye Ziji will assume the role of Director of the Hong Kong Planning Department on March 18, 2025, replacing Chung Man Kit, who will commence pre-retirement leave on the same day; Government Flying Service Chief Pilot Liu Jiajun will assume the role of Director of the Government Flying Service on March 13, 2025, replacing Ho Wai Hung, who will commence pre-retirement leave on the same day; and Deputy Chief Legal Counsel Zhou Lillian will assume the role of Director of the Hong Kong Insolvency Department on March 31, 2025, replacing Mak Kam Lo, who will begin pre-retirement leave on the same day.
Regarding the appointments of Ye Ziji, Liu Jiajun, and Zhou Lillian, Hong Kong Civil Service Bureau Director Yeung Ho Pui-Yan said, "Ye Ziji, Liu Jiajun, and Zhou Lillian possess outstanding leadership and management abilities, as well as rich professional knowledge. I am confident that they will be able to lead their respective departments to face future challenges."
Regarding the three senior officials who are retiring, Yeung Ho Pui-Yan expressed gratitude for their dedication and service to the citizens, and wished them a fulfilling and happy retirement.
