Gansu Engineering Consulting Group (000779.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Gansu Province Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Survey and Design (referred to as "Hydropower Design Institute") recently received a notice of winning the bid for the preliminary design stage survey and design project of the Gansu Province Jingdian Irrigation District Modernization Project. The announcement shows that the Gansu Province Jingdian Irrigation District Modernization Project is located in the Jingdian Irrigation District (including Jingtai County in Baiyin City, Guluang County, Minqin County, and Liangzhou District in Wuwei City). The main construction contents of the project include: renovation of 7 irrigation district branch canal pumping stations, addition of standby units for Phase II main canal Pumping Stations 1 to 13, replacement of old equipment in Phase I pumping stations, renovation of some open canal sections in the Min- Tiao Main Canal, renovation of some branch canals, sub-canals, canal structures and sluices in Phases I and II, construction of some drainage canals, restoration and renovation of irrigation and alkali washing canals, construction of 2 new drainage pumping stations, construction of regulating reservoirs, construction of roadways along the canals, installation of canal protection nets, demolition and reconstruction or refurbishment of management buildings, construction of some water distribution points; improving the three-dimensional perception system, real-time monitoring of soil moisture, water conditions, weather, construction progress, and video surveillance in the irrigation district, improving the support and guarantee system, including upgrading the backbone communication network, building irrigation branch communication networks, upgrading the conference system, transforming the environment of control rooms, building a video management platform, constructing a cloud platform and computing storage platform, building a network security and password security system, constructing a digital intelligent platform and developing smart application businesses, and completing the integration of the information system. The estimated investment in this project is 6.45 billion RMB, with a bidding fee rate of 4.49%.
