Bank of America Securities released a research report stating that it maintains a "buy" rating for GEELY AUTO (00175) with a target price of 19.7 Hong Kong dollars, and remains optimistic about Geely's stable sales prospects this year. Geely unveiled its latest model E8 at the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tech Day yesterday (3rd), and is the first automaker to integrate DeepSeek into its autonomous driving architecture as an original equipment manufacturer for automobiles. This technology will be applied to future models to further enhance the user experience. Bank of America Securities mentioned that Geely announced at the event that the Galaxy series will be upgraded to the Geely Galaxy brand, and London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) has officially been included in the Galaxy brand, which will further improve the company's product portfolio. Management aims for the Galaxy brand to sell over 1 million units this year, and the company also stated that it will reduce the pricing of certain models by 3000 to 4000 Chinese yuan to stimulate sales in March.
