On Monday, US cryptocurrency related stocks surged before the market opened, with MicroStrategy (MSTR.US) rising 14%, CleanSpark (CLSK.US) rising over 12%, Riot Platforms (RIOT.US) and MARA Holdings (MARA.US) rising over 10%, and Coinbase (COIN.US) rising nearly 10%. In terms of news, Trump announced on Sunday that five cryptocurrencies will be included in the new US cryptocurrency strategic reserve. Trump stated that an executive order in January regarding digital assets will establish a currency reserve including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Solana, and Cardano.
