CHINA CHENGTONG (00217) released its annual performance for the year ending December 31, 2024, with a revenue of 553 million Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 25.3% compared to the previous year. The net profit attributable to owners of the company was 38.633 million Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 43.2% year-on-year. Basic earnings per share were 0.65 Hong Kong cents, with a proposed final dividend of 0.20 Hong Kong cents per share.
The decrease in revenue during the period was attributed to the group adopting a more cautious strategy in developing new leasing business due to uncertainties in the external economic environment.
